VUU TO SCRIMMAGE WILLIAM & MARY NOV. 8

Virginia Union University, the defending national champions in men's basketball, will host the College of William & Mary in an open scrimmage at 7 p.m. on November 8 in historic Barco-Stevens Hall on the VUU campus.

 

VUU, which finished 2004-05 with a 30-4 record, returns seniors Darius Hargrove and Duan Crockett.  Hargrove was the MVP of the past two CIAA Tournaments, and Crockett was named to the All-Elite Eight National Tournament squad.

 

William & Mary finished at 8-21 last season and eighth in the Colonial Athletic Association standings.

 

Admission will be free and open to the public.
